OPI Calendar: April

Hey guys! I know I’m a day early for April, but since I don’t like skipping a post on Monday and don’t really have anything else to share for the moment, this would do. To be completely honest, I was not looking forward to this color scheme at all. Looking at the colors on the calendar, I had no interest in owning them. Now that I have them on my nails, I’ve gone a complete 180.

Lacquer Legion: LUCKY

Hey guys! I’m participating in the Lacquer Legion again this month and I’m quite excited for what I have to share. I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, and the only thing I was certain about when the theme was announced was that I wasn’t going to do shamrocks. So, I went in an entirely different direction!

Miss Ashleigh Where My Witches At?

Happy Friday! I’ve kind of gone off the deep end with my posting schedule. I realized I want to post more, so I’m trying to showcase more swatches and polishes I use for the base of nail art rather than just the nail art itself. We’ll see how it goes. This week, I used an untried indie that was sitting in my collection since December. I seriously have absolutely no idea how it went that long, but as I was cleaning I rediscovered it and had to use it immediately.

Julep March Maven Box Swatches

Hello! Hope you all had a great weekend. I had a fairly busy one, but definitely enjoyed it. Today, I have a different kind of post to share with you. I received this month’s Maven Box from Julep last week and decided to swatch the colors before playing with them in a nail art fashion. Let me know what you think!

First up is Margaret. This is a beautiful cornflower blue creme. This is two — rather thick — coats. It probably could have been three thin ones, but I always forget how much polish gathers on the Julep brushes. I’m actually still wearing this color. It’s definitely my favorite out of the trio.
