Hey guys! Hope you’re having a good week so far. I have a new design to share with you today using OPI polishes. I was absolutely loving the Essie color I shared with you yesterday, but had too much tip wear to be able to use that base. So, I grabbed another dark purple polish out of my stash and went to town.
Still photographing my right hand. I had a slight break on another nail on my left hand, but haven’t been able to file the remaining nails down to match. Eventually they will all be back to perfect length. The colors I used here are OPI’s OPI Ink (which is probably one of my favorite polishes ever) and This Gown Needs a Crown, which was from last years Miss America mini-collection. I was finally able to get my hands on that beautiful satin glitter, so I was just itching to use it.
I decided to top coat the silver, though. With this particular design, the satin finish didn’t quite come through, so I opted to smooth it all out. It took a bit of time to get the striping tape down. I planned on only doing two nails, and that’s all I did. I love the affect, but am still on the fence if it was worth the time put into it. It probably is and I’ll revisit it with different colors at a later point in time.
