Hey guys. Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well. I am a bundle of anxious joy right now. I’m going to the hair show this weekend! I absolutely cannot wait. This is my second time and now that I know what to expect, it’s going to be awesome! My haul is going to be spectacular. Today, though, I have a simple mani to share with you. I did this late one night and just wanted something simple.
Hey guys! Hope your week is going well. I’m getting my oil changed today (fun!), so it’ll be great as soon as that’s over with. Today’s post is for the Lacquer Legion theme of garden. I wasn’t too sure where I wanted to go with this, as I didn’t want to do an actual garden, and flowers aren’t really my thing. My mother reminded me of butterfly gardens, so I went with a simple butterfly and flower.
Hey guys! Hope you are having a good Memorial Day. Work is closed today, so I’m enjoying a rare Monday off. Today, I have OPI Neons to share with you. I picked up the mini set of all six colors the other day at work. Like the Essie Neons, I’ve decided to show what the colors look like with and without a white base coat. (I don’t have the white base coat OPI released with the collection, so I’ve used Alpine Snow instead.) The white coat is on my pointer and ring finger, while just a clear base coat on my middle and pinkie. These all have top coat, as they dried semi-matte and are taken outside in shade. Let me know what you think!
Hey guys! How has your week been? Mine has been long. I have vacation coming up in a couple weeks, so it seems like each day of work is dragging. Unfortunately, laziness has seeped into home life and I’m just now getting this post up.
Hey guys! Have a good weekend? I had a surprisingly low-key weekend, but I know I’m going to be busy for the next month. Today is a continuation of untrieds. Instead of nail art, I decided to do swatches as I pretty much wore these colors by themselves.
Hey guys! Happy Friday! Today, I have my second post with the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida. This month is Lupus Awareness month, so we’ve decided to go purple. For this mani, I grabbed a few of the purples in my stash and went to town.
Hey guys! Today I have a cutesy design to share with you using the two colors from this month’s maven box.
Hey guys! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great Mother’s Day yesterday, even if it involved spending the day on yourself. I finally got my May box from Julep this past Thursday. This is a stepping stone for Julep because it included the plié wand. I’ve used it once so far and am working to put together a review for the wand soon. For today, I figured I would share with you one of the polishes that came in this month’s box.
Hey guys! I hope your Thursday is going well so far. Today, I have four of the six new Essie neons to share. I’ve been staring at them for about a week at work and finally broke down a couple days ago. I really am glad I did! While I don’t necessarily categorize them as actual neon nail polish, they’re bright for Essie and I was really happy to see more than just pink.
The polishes are supposed to be layered over white to help the color pop, and I’ve decided to show what it looks like layered and alone. In each swatch my pointer and ring finger have two coats over a white base, while my middle and pinkie have two coats over a clear base. Be sure to check out all of the colors! I’m going to include my thoughts on the formulas after the photos. With the exception of the last one, all of these photos are taking outside in shade.
The first one I have for you is Serial Shopper. I love this coral. It definitely needs a white base to pop. My photo is a little lenient on the clear base color. It looked quite sheer and more dusty than bright, but with the white to bounce off of, it reminded me of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy. I love this color.
Hey guys! How’s your week going so far? It’s half-way over, and 1:00 Saturday cannot get here quick enough! Today, I continue my journey to use up my untrieds. Instead of picking numbers like last time, I instead went by brands. I noticed that I am so close to using up all of my Julep polishes, so I grabbed two of the remaining three to use and went for it.
I promise it looks better in person. (The next picture is much better!) Continue reading
