Gradients and Sand

Hey guys! I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was pretty good — even though I had to work this past Saturday, I was off yesterday, today, and tomorrow. So, in a way, I do get a three day weekend. Today, I have the manicure I actually wore on Friday to share with you.

OPI ...Eurso Euro
I really wasn’t a fan of the sugar spun mani, and wanted something different. I used the same blue and red (OPI …Eurso Euro and Over and Over A-Gwen), but this time used OPI Alpine Snow for the white and It’s Frosty Outside for the sparkly accent nail.

OPI It's Frosty OutsideI used a makeup sponge for the gradient. The blue didn’t turn out as smooth as I wanted it to, but this red it fantastic for gradients! I only had to dab the sponge on my nail one time to get it this opaque. I will definitely be grabbing this color again for any red gradients I end up doing. I could not believe how easy it was to work with!

OPI Over and Over A-GwenSee so many other 4th of July manicures that included a silver/holo glitter, I decided to go with a simple textured polish. I love the contrast between the nails, and it kind of brought everything together. This design ended up looking exactly as I pictured it in my head.

OPI Alpine SnowSo, what do you think? I’ve also been playing around with my hand positions. I’m trying to find something that works, and I think I like the rectangular photo sizes rather than the square ones I’ve been trying. Any thoughts? I hope you all have a great Monday and I’ll see you soon!
