Hey guys! Can you believe it’s already May? I’m still in shock, but excited that my birthday’s only a month away! Today, I have a design using this month’s colors on the OPI Calendar.
My camera did not like this design. The colors aren’t quite accurate and you can barely see the watermarble. One of these days, I’ll learn how to tweak colors so at least that can be right. For this, I used OPI Cozu-melted in the Sun on my ring finger, Charged Up Cherry on my middle, and a marble of those two along with Altar Ego and Miami Beet on the other fingers.
I used Altar Ego as the base for my watermarble — it’s a sheer…sheer? I mean, it has a duochrome shimmer in it, but not really a color to it. I’m actually not a huge fan of it, so I wasn’t too broken up about it not showing up in the design. Miami Beet is my favorite of the four, while my sister absolutely loves Charged Up Cherry.
What do you think? I wish I had a better shot of the colors — Charged Up Cherry is brighter than it appears and Miami Beet (the bottle) is much more purple than this shows. I do like the design, though.
